Copper Ski Holidays

Copper Mountain offers a convenient and purpose built resort that is made of wood and stonce clad condo buildings. You will definitely be impressed through by the number of activiites in the village that will keep you occupied even when not skiing or boarding. The ski resort is made up of three main villages made up of shops, bars and restaurants set out around walkways and squares where people gather to talk about their day. The East Village and Union Creek are the smaller surrounding villages that are quieter than the The Village at Copper and are connected up with a free shuttle bus. Keystone, Arapahoe and Breckenridge are all close by for day trips with Vail and Winter Park just a little bit further away.

Ski Copper

The skiing and snowboarding at Copper Mountain has something for everyone with a good mix of trees and open slopes. The children's ski school is known to be excellent and has a dedicated Family Ski Zone where your children can learn to ski in complete safety. Intermediates will love the top to bottom greens and blues and will enjoy trying their legs out on the bumps. For a little bit of powder the high bowls will always impress as there are some lovely moderate gradients. More advanced skiers and boarders will enjoy the seriously steep terrain in the bowls. It is worth taking one of the guided tours that run daily at in the mornings and afternoons. That way you will be making the most of the mountain. If you are staying for a while then it is worth taking the Tri-Mountain lift pass as this covers Copper Mountain, Winter Park and Steamboat.

Copper Apres Ski

Apres ski in Copper is made up of the liely bars such as Endo's Adrenaline Cafe and JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern that are good when the lifts close. There is live music and a nightclub to keep going till the wee small hours! Off the slopes there is ice skating, snow mobiling, snow shoeing and dog sledding. Why not try something new like skiing or boarding with a kite? If you just want to relax then head to the Athletic Club for some lovely spa treatments.

Copper Childcare

The Belly Button Babies and Bakery offers childcare for children aged 8 weeks to 6 years old.

FREE childcare is also on offer as long as you spend $30 in any commercial outlet in the resort during the hours that your child is in their program.

Copper Ski and Snowboard School

Ski and snowboard lessons are available to book with the local ski school. Children are taken from 3 years.

There is a variety of lessons available from Women's Wednesday, Bump Buster Camps, Over the Hill Gang and Training Camps. Basically there is something for everyone to choose from.
