Heavenly Ski Holidays

Heavenly is set in a spectacular setting right on the border with Nevada. The views of Lake Tahoe and Nevada are simply stunning from the top of the mountain. The highest section of the resort sits at 10,040 feet and with vertical of 3,470 feet this is Lake Tahoe's highest and biggest resort in it's area. Heavenly is a great base to stay in Lake Tahoe as the other resorts are all within an hours easy drive.

Ski Heavenly

Most of the skiable area at Heavenly is through the trees which is excellent if the weather closes in as visibility will be much better. Experts will enjoy the challenges of the Face and Gunbarrel as they are mega steep and full of moguls. There are also some fantastic double black diamond runs through the wooded areas of Mott and Killebrew. Intermediates will just love Heavenly as there is plenty of cruising to be found with more challenging terrain on the longer runs at the Nevada side. More adventurous intermediates will be happy in the tree runs from the Sky chair. Beginner's will find a good beginners area at the top of the gondola so no problems with access. There are also some lovely gentle green runs on the California side of the mountain. For those who prefer the park to the piste there are three different parks that suit all levels so something for everyone.

Heavenly Apres Ski

At the end of the day there is a bar at the top of the gondola for an apres ski tipple. It is an Austrian style igloo bar so will no doubt be rocking in the afternoon. There is another bar at the foot of the gondola called Fire & Ice so plenty of opportunity to relax or party before dinner. Later on at night the casinos on the Nevada side of the border have fantastic shows with top-name billings. Off the slopes the obvious past time is gambling. However, if that is not your thing then go snowmobiling or take a boat trip on the lake. There is also tubing, snow biking, tobogganing and snow shoeing so plenty to do outwith the casinos.

Heavenly Childcare

The resort runs a day care centre from 0830hrs to 1600hrs. This is for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Heavenly Ski and Snowboard School

Heavenly Ski and Snowboard School offers lessons for children aged 4 to 13 years and adult lessons
